Job Description/ Responsibilities:

  • This committee will give direction and insight on the building and grounds requirements in relation to classroom size and usage, number of administrative offices and usage, educational building requirements, and all things related to Administration and Education.

Capital Campaign

Job Description/Primary Responsibilities:

  • Researching and identifying prospects
  • Management and organization of pipeline.
  • Prospect tracking.
  • Assembling presentations for board preparation.
  • Organize and monitor volunteer assignments and assisting in all aspects of volunteer led events.
  • Writing campaign correspondence to include solicitation proposals, meeting requests, etc.
  • Maintain campaign calendar of events and assignments.

Environment

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

  • This committee will help determine the “look and feel” of the classroom environments, educational facilities, and social gathering environments.
  • They will assist in giving direction to the architects and planners to ensure the final look and feel of the buildings.

FAQ / Rumor Mill

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for responding to Frequently Asked Questions and to dispel Rumors about the building project.
  • Maintain dialogue with Social Organizations and Parish Communications Sub-Committees.
  • Bring questions, concerns and ideas from parish to appropriate committees.

Fundraising

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies to encourage new or increased contributions.
  • Recruit sponsors, participants, or volunteers for fund raising events.
  • Secure commitments of participation or donations from individuals or other donors.
  • Prepare materials for charitable events such as fundraising envelopes, bid sheets, or gift bags.
  • Establish fund raising goals for special events or specified time periods.
  • Identify and build relationships with potential donors.
  • Develop fundraising activities that maximize participation or contributions.
  • Plan and direct special events for fundraising such as silent auctions, dances, golf events or walks.
  • Write and send letters of thanks to donors.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for the steering committee.
