Children's Ministry

"...but Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.'" - Matthew 19:14

Dear St. Paul’s & St. Joseph’s Families,

Given our current situation and concern for the health and safety of our community, all Youth Ministry and Religious Education related meetings are cancelled until April 3rd. Please know we are working to provide online options for continuing formation and will keep you posted as the situation evolves. We understand there will be many questions re: sacramental preparation and reception of the sacraments. We will share any and all information regarding those events as it becomes available.

How can you help? Share this info with your friends and family. Check your email, messages, website, Facebook, and Instagram regularly for updates. Please contact the parish office with updated phone and email information to ensure you are getting up-to-date info.

“Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.” ~ St. Teresa of Calcutta

Let’s keep each other and all our brothers and sisters in our prayers as we move forward.

Peace,
St. Paul’s/St. Joseph’s Staff

Religious Education For Children

We have been blessed to participate in the faith formation of hundreds of children and their families.  We have been equally blessed by the support of our priests, parents, staff and the many of catechists and volunteers who step forward each year.

St. Paul’s offers religious education for children 4 years old through high school.

There is a $35 Registration Fee per child or $90 family cap, so total fee for a family with more than three children enrolled in Religious Education will not exceed $90. (Sacrament preparation is not included in the family cap.)  If you have any questions about registration or about St. Paul’s R.E. program, please contact us by phone at 208-466-7031 or by email to mlinan@stpaulsnampa.org.

Please do not let finances stand in the way of giving your children a religious education! Due to the generosity of many groups and individuals in our parish, we offer tuition assistance for parish families who need help. We do not want a single child to miss out on Religious Education because of finances! To request tuition assistance, please call the parish office. All requests for financial assistance are kept confidential. You must be a registered parishioner of St. Paul’s parish to request tuition assistance.

Become a Catechist

Your child’s religious education is dependent on the dedication and loving witness of our catechists. Have you thought about being a catechist but have never given it a try? We have volunteer spots just waiting for you! All volunteers must have current Safe Environment certification (including training and a background check) before working with students.
