We often wonder if we are doing enough in this world. Have I done enough at work, invested enough in our children, have I saved enough for retirement? We are not quite sure we are doing enough but we are unsure what enough really is. We live with this vague sense that we don’t have enough and are not doing enough and we are not are good enough. This new series tackles the notion of “enough” and where God fits into the picture.

Week One: When is it Enough?

This week, we launch our new Message series, “Important Enough”. We begin by exploring the areas where we feel unworthy and unloved, and we address the narrative driving the belief that we must “be enough”. We will take an authentic look at our identity in Christ and reassess this premise … perhaps “enough” is the wrong goal.

Week Two: The Real Goal of Life

This week in our Message Series: Important Enough, we explore the real goal of life, not to make sure we have enough or do enough on our own but that we follow Jesus, our Messiah. This week, we work to change our focus, embrace Christ, and accept God as the source of our worth and our greatest love.

Week Three: God Gives Us What We Need

Week Three, we take a hard look at the reality that, often our practical world does not align with our spiritual hope. We unpack the reasons that can cause this misalignment and how we can partner with God.

Week Four: Christ is Enough

Week 4 of Important Enough, we tackle the notion that maybe we are not good enough for God. Christ is enough and we are enough in Christ, period. This week, we traverse the deep, core theological truth that we are God’s own. And anything we do, large or small, done in His name, is enough to satisfy God.

Week Five: We Need God & Others

In our final week of the Message Series, we dialogue on relationship. God has created us to live in relationship and when we understand we are truly one human family, we accept our reliance on God and each other … and celebrate that need.
